Christmas is almost here!!

Hello people!

Since Christmas is only 18 days away, I decided to come up with some cute Christmas treats you can offer to your family and friends. Christmas for me is all about chocolate and strawberry (my favorite combination). Hope you will enjoy!

Brownies-strawberry Christmas Hat

Here is what you will need:

  • Your favorite brownie recipe (Here is mine)
  • About 20 fresh strawberries
  • Whipped cream
  • Round cookie cutter
  • Piping bag with round tip
Method:
  1. Bake your brownies as instructed. Leave them to cool.
  2. Start by cutting your brownies using your cookie cutter.
  3. Whip your whipping cream using either an electric mixer or a hand one. Make sure it is fluffy and doubles in size. It should hold in the bowl when tuned upside down. Pipe the brownies by going around them in a circular shape and then fill the middle.
  4.  Cut the head of your strawberry. Gently top the whipped cream.
  5. End by just piping the top of your strawberry creating the hat effect.
  6. You can serve with a white chocolate sauce on the side for more deliciousness :)

The next one is a gift idea, but for people like me who adore chocolate, you can just do it for yourself :)

Hot Chocolate in a jar

What you will need:

  • Jars
  • Colourful ribbons
  • Tags
  • Hot chocolate mix
  • Chocolate chips
  • Small marshmallows
  • Hot milk (to pour when ready to be served)
  • Lots lots lots of love ;)
Method:
Simply add the hot chocolate mix in the bottom of the jar. The proportion depends on how big the jar is. Basically you just do one third layer of the jar. Add the chocolate chips on top of the mix then finish with the marshmallows. You can then decorate your jars as you wish. When the person is about to consume it, just add boiling milk to the jar, close it and then just shake and mix it. Instant delicious rich hot chocolate :) So easy but so tasty. Perfect for cold weather (specially here in Canada it is freeeeeeeeeezing right now but also for chocolate lovers around the world, whether it is hot or cold).

Last one for today:

Strawberry Christmas Tree

What you will need:
  • Fresh yummy strawberries
  • Cone for the core
  • Your favorite chocolate
  • Piping bag and parchment paper for star top
I guess the picture is self explanatory. Basically just chop the head of your strawberry, dip in melted chocolate the stick to the cone. Repeat the process until all the cone is covered. You might also want to keep the small strawberries for the top and but the biggest ones in the bottom. You can make the top star by piping the melted chocolate on parchment paper to the desired shape and let dry. Voila!

I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS in case I don't blog again before Christmas. I hope Santa will spoil you all :)

Take care
