Amazing Banana Oat Muffins!!

Hi people Just tried those muffins and they are pretty good! I would definitely recommend to give them a try. For a healthier option substitute the oil with unsweetened apple sauce and 2 egg whites for the whole egg. Enjoy!  Ingredients: (makes 15) 1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour 1 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup white sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup milk 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup mashed ripe bananas 1/4 cup chocolate chips Method: Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, beat the egg lightly. Stir in the milk, oil and vanilla extract. Add the mashed banana and combine. Stir in the flour mixture and chocolate chips until combined. Line a muffin tin with paper bake cups and pour the batter in. Bake at 400F (or 205 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes. And that's it! All done and ready to be

Healthy Cheesecake Hi baking fans! As from today, I will be creating and testing low fat desserts because a sweet tooth and a trim body are not irreconcilable! By trying to be healthy, some people unfortunately skip dessert to avoid ruining their diet... But those days are over! Let's start by this reduced fat cheesecake. It might not be the best cheesecake in the world but it helps to satisfy cravings! Ingredients: 1/2 pack crushed Digestive Biscuits 1/2 cup melted trans-fat free margarine 3 packages of reduced fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon Cornstarch 500g fat-free Sour Cream 2 tablespoon vanilla essence 2 large eggs 2 large egg whites Method: Preheat oven to 325 F Degrees. In a cheesecake pan, stir in the biscuit crumbs with the butter until moistened and firmly press mixture onto the bottom of the pan. Almond and Raspberry Bakewell Tart Hello baking fans! This recipe is my all time favorite tart! Being a huge almond fan, I just love the combination of the soft ground almonds and the crispy flaked almonds on top. This is definitely a wonderful tart to try at home! Ingredients: Short crust pastry -175 g plain flour -75g unsalted butter or hard margarine -2-3 tbsp cold water Filling -1 tbsp Raspberry jam (Or your favorite flavor) -125g unsalted butter or margarine -125g caster sugar -125g ground almonds -1 egg -1/2 tsp almond extract -50g flaked almonds Method: 1. Prepare the short crust pastry: Cut the butter into pieces, sift the flour and combine both. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until you get a mixture that resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the water slowly and mix until you get a soft dough.  2. Roll out the dough in a lightly floured surface and line a 20 cm cake tin. Refrigerate for 30 mins. 3. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F. Hi people It's been quite a long time since I haven't updated my blog. I guess you will all agree when you work full time and live on your own, you don't really have much time left. Anyways, I decided to bake a rolled cake I wanted to try since last year and the result was better than expected! This rolled chocolate cake is very simple to make, requires only 10 ingredients and is a crowd-pleaser. So, why don't you give it a try?! For the white chocolate ganache, you will need: -1 1/2 cup white chocolate -1 cup heavy/whipping cream -1 cup quartered strawberries For the pattern: - 1 large egg white -30 g granulated sugar -40 g plain flour -20 g room temperature unsalted butter - Red food coloring For the cake: -4 eggs, white and yolk separated -1/2 cup sugar -60 g melted butter -1/2 cup flour -1/4 cup cocoa powder Utensils required: Baking pan (11'' x 17''), Parchment paper (not wax paper), Piping bag with smallest nozzle
